Entry Web Developer

Work with our creative team, doing challenging work!

We are looking for an extremely capable Entry Web Developer to join our front-end team. In this role, you?ll work primarily on the team responsible for the user experience with other Web Development Engineers, Designers and Product Managers in a development environment that is extremely collaborative. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment focused on user-centered, iterative design and development cycles.

Responsibilities:

? Writing standards-compliant complex CSS2 and some CSS3, XHTML and JavaScript.

? Developing production-level code as well as proof-of-concepts and prototypes.

? Creating work that is fully cross browser compliant.

? Enjoying taking ownership of individual projects and collaborating on parallel projects.

? Working primarily with PHP, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and procedural and object-oriented design, dynamic content retrieval, performance optimization techniques, unit testing techniques, debugging techniques, state management, HTTP, and Apache.


Requirements:

? Knowledge of code optimization and software design principles, and have a passion and demonstrated experience in UI design and development.

? Ablity to exercise innovation in support of UI design and heuristics through your expertise in client development to enhance the overall user experience.

? Possess a BSCS/MSCS or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of CSS, HTML/XHTML, PHP5, JavaScript and AJAX. Knowledge of Linux helpful.

? Out of the box thinker and problem solver.
