The Process Development Engineer - Programmer is responsible for the following: In-depth understanding of all metal machining processes related to manufacturing. Experienced in CNC programming for horizontal and vertical machining centers using 3D CAD/CAM systems. If required, develop all elements of the operation - including the tooling/fixturing for manufacturing operations. Create work instructions to improve existing operations, incorporating new methods and processes. Work with cross functional groups, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and Sourcing to solve complex problems and improve capability and reduce overall cost.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field and 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.

Desired

1. In-depth knowledge of engineering and production processes.

2. Demonstrated ability to work through and influence.

3. Conceptual and detailed design expertise in tooling/fixturing for manufacture of machined Components.

4. Knowledgeable in the manufacturing application of statistics, geometric tolerancing, datuming, dimensioning, stackup.

5. Experienced in one or more of the following: multi-axis machining, tool design and build, CAD/CAM NC programming expertise in the areas of milling, turning, grinding, and wire EDM.

6. Good documentation skills.

7. Fluent in solid modeling technologies.

8. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
