Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: This position is primarily responsible for creating, installing, and maintaining web-based systems while completing corresponding documentation. Work with team of six on the project scope. Adhere to all coding and methodology standards. Modify existing and create new programs or modules. This includes design, coding, configuration, testing, installation through maintenance and support of over six different web sites and two backend access systems. Query reports from dashboard. Incumbents will also work on back-end door assess system and web-based billing system. Provide solutions to problems relating to both customer and product support. Investigate technical application issues. Assist in relational database design and the maintenance of existing databases Understand technical infrastructure and recommend solutions consistent with the environment, technical knowledge, resources, availability requirements, etc. Demonstrate core competency in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with internal business users as well as external customers and vendors to troubleshoot and answer questions. Must be a highly motivated team player able and willing to work closely within a team environment. This is a growing company and as such the project scope can change. Must be very adaptable to change. Our client prefers more of an outgoing free thinker who can contribute ideas and improvements as the department evolves. Required Skills: The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this position include: 2-4 years of experience in Web application development, HTML, 2-4 years of experience with ColdFusion; .NET, ASP.NET, My SQL, SQL Server, Visual Basic, VB.Net, Access. Must have experience in Relational Database, and SDLC. Associates or Bachelors Degree (preferred) in Computer Science, MIS or related field; or equivalent work experience in technology role. Ability to work within a set framework and adhere to coding standards. Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and the ability to handle heavy work loads. Preferences: Experience with high traffic/volume Web sites (a plus) Experience with the administration of Microsoft SQL Server Databases, Visual Basic & VB.NET Proficiency in ColdFusion frameworks
