Position
We have an opening for a Senior Software Engineer for our exciting Windows-based system level application still in the concept stage. AutoVirt is an early stage, high energy start-up seeking the very best, innovative, software engineers.

Description of Duties
* Write the Design Specification, code, test and document.
* Work with the engineering team to create a seamless, cutting edge product.
* Develop software modules under the direction of the lead architect as required.

Profile of Candidate
* BSCS/BSEE minimum, MSCS preferred, other degrees with experience may be considered.
* 3+ year?s technical experience minimum.
* Significant C/C++ or C# based implementations required.
* 2 years C# experience preferred.
* Experience in middle-tier distributed windows systems.
* Experience with NHibernate, NUnit, NAnt are pluses.
* Experience Enterprise library experience is a plus.
* Experience with IIS and SQL server is a plus.
* Solid Microsoft Visual studio based coding and debug techniques required.
* Experienced in developing software for the Enterprise market.
* .NET software experience preferred.
* Experience designing and coding at the Windows file system level is a plus.
* Understanding of the Windows network stack is a plus.
* Design for test, maintainability, performance and scalability is expected.
* Participate in peer reviews to ensure a successful product.
* Experience successfully bringing products to market.

Minimal travel may be required.
