About You
AccuRev is looking for highly motivated software engineer with 4 or more years of experience to join our software development team. Ideal candidates are self starters, focused, team oriented, customer oriented, driven to succeed with a ?do whatever it takes? attitude and able to work in an entrepreneurial environment with minimal management. Successful candidates become integral members of our software development team and will be involved in all aspects of our product development and deployment. You must be a strong at implementing quality, high performance code and are eager to solve difficult programming challenges for a multi-threaded application.



Position

This position is a Senior Software Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Core Products Development. You will design and implement software products and components in collaboration with a small team of highly experienced developers.


Responsibilities

? Author design specifications for application software components.

? Develop application software components using C and C++.

? Produce clear, tested, documented code according to specifications.

? Participate in the architecture and design of overall application.

? Provide technical support to our customer base.



Qualifications

? Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

? 4+ years of software development experience focused on designing, implementing and deploying enterprise-level distributed applications.

? Track record of delivering products to market.

? Excellent C / C++ skills.

? Experience delivering client and server applications on in a Windows / Linux / Unix cross platform environment

? Excellent oral and written communication skills.

? Ability to design and communicate the design of complex software systems.

? Familiarity with XML, SOAP and web services is a plus.

? Familiarity with security, access control lists, and encryption is a plus.
